My research experience can be broadly summarized into three major groups; traffic operations, safety, and data collection & modeling. Out of ten projects that I have undertaken, four were related to traffic operations, three to highway safety and three to data collection and modeling. Results of these projects have been published to journals or conferences such as Transportation Research Board Annual meetings, IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems, Journal of Transportation Engineering, Part A: Systems, and Journal of Accident Analysis & Prevention, among others.
